In the winter, families come to Lesnoe Ozero for a family fun weekend, Семейный праздник. There are language lessons for learners of all ages, cultural activities, and a visit from Grandfather Frost and the Snow Maiden. In winter 2009, Семейный праздник will be held over President’s day weekend in February at Concordia Language Village’s new facility in Marine-on-St-Croix, MN, The Forest.
